RG62U PVC 93 Ohms Solid Center Core - 60% Braid Shield. RG-62 cable was originally used in IBM mainframe environments (1970's / early 1980's). Many computer installations had miles and miles of RG-62 cabling for the connection of IBM terminals (i.e. 3270) to IBM cluster controllers (i.e. IBM 3274). Datapoint (San Antonio, TX) developed ARCnet a 2.5 Mbps LAN that also used RG-62 cabling (circa 1980's).
